Cameron Highlands is situated in the state of Pahang, Malaysia in elevation of 1524m above sea level.
Cameron Highlands was named after William Cameron, a British government surveyor who stumbled across
a plateau in 1885 during a mapping expedition on the Titiwangsa Range.
It remained untouched until the early 1920’s.

In 1925, when Sir George Maxwell visited the highlands, which eventually led for developement
of the hill station and now Cameron Highlands is known as Malaysia’s most popular tourist
destination and well known for agriculture activities.
